From this point, the group realized the need to have the help of someone with experience in the direction of a Spiritist Center. We sought the help of Norma Guimarães, the "Point of Light" of New York, who in turn indicated us Mara Brandão and Elza Dagosto, "Spiritist Group Love and Light", because they are in Newark and, consequently, closer of our house.

With affection and attention, signs of those who have already understood the Doctrine of Jesus, they did not go to great lengths to help us. Mara, always encouraging us and bringing us good teachings through lectures, and Elza for "Know yourself", which also brought our friend Katy Meira.

Activities have multiplied, studies have begun, and we have received the reinforcement of companions today in the "Divine Light" that periodically illuminate our Sundays with excellent lectures such as. ; also Eduardo Guimarães, IESS, New York, among others.

Today we have a good place to develop our studies, to listen to the lectures and to hold our Fraternal Lunches, always seeking to learn and practice the Doctrine, welcoming all with great joy and affection, as taught us by our dear Master.

Our Story

By the end of February 2,002, four people began to gather in the "Basement" of the former house of Marlene Rabelo for the study of the Doctrine of Spirits. They were Simone, Fábia, Maura and Marlene, people who did not know each other, nor did they have any previous contact.

The space was getting smaller, and no longer fit everyone in the place. The solution: find another place as fast as possible. This was done and in a short time we started our activities at 266 West Ave, strategically located behind the train station. In this same period it was decided to publish an ad in the local newspaper, which made it possible for other people to know the house.
